Mini John Deere 2030

I built this 1/2 scale John Deere 2030 tractor from a 1973 John Deere 110.

This is the second tractor I built. My Dad and brother bank-rolled it, I built it, and kept it for 6 months, to show. Then we gave it to a friend as a retirement gift from the three of us. It was because of this tractor, and my 826 that I'm building little tractors. God works in mysterious ways...

This is what the tractor looked like the day I brought it home.
Some progress pictures...

The "hub caps" really finish it, and make it look like an accurate scale tractor...

  3. Love the wide fronts, but I hope you get a tricycle to do soon. Would like to see your take on an Farmall h, early 50's model.
